Our exquisite Ballroom, the crown jewel of event suites is the largest of the hotel’s suites, and beautifully captures the grandeur of the Majestic, having hosted many glamourous banquets and star-studded events.
The room features high ceilings, carved pillars, beautiful crystal chandeliers, and lots of natural light from full-length windows with views over the grounds.
As the day transitions into the evening, our ballroom can be transformed into the ultimate celebration space, beckoning guests to kick off their shoes and twirl the night away on the dancefloor.
Overlooking our gardens, the Reading Room features an abundance or original features, including the 5.4m high ceilings adorned with original Edwardian coving, and remarkable full-length windows that bathe the room in natural light.
The magnificent fireplace is set below a beautiful oval mirror, which dates to the hotel’s opening, and the shimmering antique venetian chandelier reflects within it, sending glittering light around the room. The perfect focal point for the end of your wedding aisle.
Have the mirrored doors open to the Drawing Room next door to make a huge apartment of the two rooms or keep them separate and use the Reading Room for your ceremony and the Drawing Room for your wedding breakfast.
Partnered to the Reading Room, the Drawing Room will suit a larger ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, or evening reception.
As with the Reading Room, The Drawing Room features the same beautiful characteristics, with its own fireplace set below a beautiful square mirror, also dating back to the hotel’s opening.
Once a space where Edwardian guests would park their horses and carriages, The Carriage Suite has the feeling of a bygone era with a gorgeous feature wall made from the original stone archways that once formed part of the stables.
The Carriage Suite also benefits from private direct access to the terrace and grounds, as well as a private adjoining 26ft function bar and air conditioning.
A quiet room set back from the main hustle of the Hotel, The Billiard Suite features a truly stunning antique mahogany fire place, rumoured to have been gifted to the hotel from a former cruise ship in the early 1900’s.
Although it no longer houses the four full-sized billiard tables from when the hotel first opened, the Billiard Room is a striking space that features high ceilings with gorgeous crystal chandeliers, stately pillars and lots of natural daylight and views of the fountain at the hotel entrance. There is also a large, concealed screen with a projector.
Welcome your guests to the occasion by hosting your drinks reception in our wood panelled Regency Suite, then continue the celebrations in the adjoining Billiard Room by dining next to the antique mahogany fireplace, rumoured to have been gifted to the hotel by a former cruise ship in the early 1900’s.
Although it no longer houses the large billiard tables, the Billiard Room is a striking space that overlooks the hotel’s fountain. With high ceilings, shining crystal chandeliers, stately pillars, and plenty of natural daylight, it’s a grand space for a wedding celebration.

Intimate Weddings & Dressing Rooms
Nestled within the heart of the hotel are eight enchanting event suites, each tailored for romantic occasions, from intimate weddings to bridal party havens. The Harrogate Suite, a former fine dining French restaurant on the mezzanine level, features regal pillars, a stunning high ceiling, and a bay window for natural daylight, accommodating up to 60 guests. Inspired by UK spa towns, six additional rooms on various floors seamlessly connect to adjacent bedrooms. Three of these rooms transform for intimate ceremonies or dressing spaces, while the other three boast fixed walnut tables for dinners of up to 18 guests. The Majestic Room, our eighth gem on the ground floor, offers ample natural daylight, an original mantelpiece, and a stunning mural on the high ceiling, complemented by an antique Venetian chandelier—a perfect setting for unforgettable moments.
